During his visit, Professor Ashok Saxena made an academic report titled Fracture Control and Structural Integrity (FraCSI), on which he reviewed the development of fracture mechanics and illustrated that the coordination of design methods, material selection and detection technologies is a new demand and that the combination of traditional fracture mechanics with aerospace and biomechanics is a new trend, which constitutes a new connotation of fracture control and structural integrity.
