Recently, in cooperation with Professor Chen Haofeng from University of Clyde,  UK,the research group of Professor Luan Weiling from School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, ECUST, published an article entitled “Shakedown, Ratcheting and fatigue analysis of cathode coating in lithium-ion battery under steady charge-discharge process”, reporting the plastic behavior and failure mechanism of electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries in steady-state cyclic charge-discharge process for the first time. 

This article is first-authored by Chen Ying, a doctoral candidate under the joint supervision of Professor Luan Weiling of ECUST and Professor Chen Haofeng of the University of Clyde, UK and is co-corresponding-authored by Professor Luan Weiling and Professor Haofeng Chen. The research work has been funded by the China Scholarship Council, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the “111” Talent Introduction Program, and the Shanghai Automotive Industry Science and Technology Development Foundation.
