Recently, ECUST research team of Professor Li Zhimin, State Key Laboratory of Bioreactor Engineering, has made new progress in enzyme engineering. The relevant research article is published in Chemical Engineering Journal under the title of “Iterativeconformational dynamics-guided protein engineering reshapes biocatalystproperties for efficient and cost-effective cytidine 5’-monophosphateproduction ”.

The article is first-authored by Chung Lin, an ECUST Doctoral Candidate in the School of Bioengineering, and is corresponding-authored by Professor Li Zhimin. The research was financially supported by Tianjin Synthetic Biotechnology Innovation Ability Enhancement Project and National Key R&D Program.
