Recently, Academician Liu Changsheng and Associate Professor Chen Xi from the School of Materials Science and Engineering of ECUST published the latest overview article in the field of tissue engineering in Bioactive Materials under the title of “Decellated Extracellular Matrix scaffolds: recent trends and emerging strategies in tissue engineering”.

This work was completed by the Medical Biomaterial Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education of East China University of Science and Technology, the Key Laboratory of Preparation and Application of Ultrafine Materials of the Ministry of Education and the Frontier Science Center of Materials Biology and Dynamic Chemistry as the first unit. The article is first authored by Zhang Xuewei, a 2019 graduate student of School of Materials, co-authored by Associate Professor Hong Hua and Liu Jiashang, a 2020 graduate student of School of Materials and corresponding-authored by Associate Professor Chen Xi and Academician Liu Changsheng.
