Recently, the research team of Professor Guo Zhiqian from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering published a new strategy of polyelectrolyte assembly based on AIE dyes (APN strategy).

The research work was mainly completed by doctoral candidate Yongkang Yao, under the guidance of Yan Chenxu, a special associate researcher, and Professor Guo Zhiqian. It has received support from Professor Wang Junyou, Professor Martien A. Cohen Stuart, Dr. Ding Peng and Professor Liu Weimin of Shanghai University of Science and Technology and has been financially supported by the Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Education of Materials Biology and Dynamic Chemistry, the Joint Research Center of Nobel Prize Scientists in Feringa, the National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and the Qixing Project of Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan.
